We're 3!

Wow. We made it. Thanks for helping us reach 3 years of business!

When I look back to when I just had the random idea to start creating candles  - I had no idea what to expect. I was so nervous about what people would think, if they’d actually want to purchase our candles or if they thought the concept behind the brand was a cliche of sorts.

3 years later, we’re still here. We’ve grown from 3 scents to 6. We’ve moved from making candles using a small wax melter in our basement to having a full studio where we've increased production and have the space to explore creating new fragrances and products.

I’d be lying if I said it was easy. Lying if I said there weren’t many times where I thought about packing up and closing down shop. But I didn’t, and I’m really glad we didn’t. Actually, maybe proud is the better word.

Proud that we created a brand that I thought people would be sad to see go away. Our community is small, but 3 years ago, I would have never even thought I could create a community. 

Our business has certainly gone through peaks and valleys - times when things were super busy to weeks where I legitimately wondered if our website checkout was broken because orders were so slow. But we stuck with it. Told ourselves that if one person wants to buy from us, or one store wants to have us on their shelves, we should still keep pushing through, and we're really glad we did.
