Created in 2021, almost by accident, BLK ROSE was born when co-founder, Kejina, wanted to find a Black-woman owned candle brand that aligned with her values.

A play on our last name Rose, BLK ROSE is about more than candles. Our vision is for BLK ROSE is to be a place where you can not only find beautiful, well-made candles, but also be inspired to discover the richness and histories of those people and voices who aren’t always widely celebrated.

Our candles are made in small batches in our studio located in Alberta, Canada. Each BLK ROSE candle has been carefully crafted to be a thought provoking and inspiring scent for your space.
